Executive Committee

The long term strategy, planning and development of the laboratory is undertaken by the EMAL Executive Committee.

This committee consists of a Director, Lumin Wang , who is a Professor in Nuclear Engineering and Radiological Sciences; two associate directors: John Mansfield who is an Associate Research Scientist in Materials Science and Engineering and also the North Campus Branch Manager, and Eric Essene, who is a professor in Geological Sciences; and two committee members: Xiaoqing Pan, who is a professor in Materials Science and Engineering and Adam Matzger, an Assistant Professor in Chemistry.

This committee sets access policy, recharge rates and plans the development of the laboratory. Each member of the committee has extensive research efforts in EMAL.
